Happy Birthday Chayce!!

Three years ago our sweet little Chayce was born.  I remember the night so well.  Funny little things kept happening to us.  When we jumped in the car to head to the hospital...the car was dead!  Perfect timing.  Then as we were waiting for our room at the hospital, Chris leaned up against the wall and accidentally pressed the code blue button!  In seconds our little area was full of nurses.  It was a night I'll never forget.  Our little Chayce became a part of our family.  We love you Chaycers!

Vann & his baby brother...he was almost 3 years old here

When the boys woke up, we came downstairs and of course the first thing Chayce wanted to do was open up his presents!  He tore through them pretty quickly and is now fully stocked on all things Power Rangers.  Then we ate some breakfast.  Yummy sweet potato blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage.

Vann reading his music card from Laurie...it was funny!
Chayce liked his too!  They've both been listening to them all day!

I think this is the Power Ranger Morpher...a phone

While the boys played with all the new toys, I checked the nearby theater for a fun movie to take them to.  It was rainy all day so, an outside activity was not gonna fly.  We decided on The Lion King in 3D.  I love that movie and couldn't wait to see it again.  The boys had never seen it before and the first thing Chayce said after I told him a bit about the movie was, 'Are the lions gonna eat me?'  Silly boy!

Off to the movies we went.  I've never been to a 3D movie before so, I didn't realize you had to wear special glasses the entire movie.  Had I known this, I probably would've picked a different movie.  Vann loved it and wore the glasses the whole time.  Chayce, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the glasses.  You would think this wouldn't be a big deal, except without the glasses, the movie is very blurry.  So, unfortunately he didn't get to enjoy the movie to its fullest, but he liked it none the less.

After dinner (a delicious ravioli sausage soup) it was cake time!  Chayce waited all day for a piece of his green Power Ranger cake.  When it was time to sing Happy Birthday to him it was so cute...he sang along with us the entire time!

Overall a very fun day.  If you ask Chayce what his favorite part was he says, 'Green Power Ranger cake!'  Happy Birthday Chaycers!
