Lot of Pics

I totally meant to write a little post last night, but I got wrapped up in my one of my favorite shows...Castle...love that show!  I also got sucked into the Bachelor world...some of those girls are crazy...straight from the looney bin.  I still don't know why I watch that show, but I do and I secretly love it...shh don't tell!

So, here I am today.  All the kiddos are napping except Vann.  He's playing Super Mario...surprise, surprise!  I just downloaded my pics from the past couple of days and I have a lot to share with you.  Are you ready??

Our theme last week and this week is Once Upon a Time.  We've been reading all kinds of classic stories...Little Red Riding Hood, Little Red Hen, The Three Little Pigs, all of those fun books.

Yesterday we talked about Humpty Dumpty.  So, our craft was to decorate an egg, cut it into a puzzle and put it back together.  Here's Vann gluing his puzzle back together.

Chayce got this fun little game for Christmas.  It's called Think Fun Bug Trails.  It's just like dominoes, but with fun colored bugs instead.
Chayce, Vann, Mia and I played a game first.
Then, the boys played a game by themselves.

Cute boy!

Today we read the Three Little Pigs.  Our craft was to make a house just like the pigs.  But I changed it up a bit.  Instead of having the kids glue on either straw, sticks or draw bricks on...I let them paint their pigs house.  Sounded way more fun!
Vann wanted to paint the inside of his cup too.
Finishing up the outside.
After nap we'll put the finishing touches on the pigs houses...a roof, a door and of course you can't forget the pigs!

Chayce was dying to get his little hands in the paint once he finished his house.

Look at that cuteness!

Vann was excited about it too!

When all the kids went down for a nap, Vann and I pulled out this fun little game he got for Christmas.  It's called Kanoodle.  It starts out easy and gets more difficult as you work through the book.

You follow the picture in the book.  He's doing a level 3 here so, it tells him where to put 9 of the pieces.  Then he has to figure out where the other 3 pieces go.

This one was pretty easy for him.
Got it!
Onto level 4.  Now he places 8 pieces by following the book and then has to figure out where the final 4 go.  This one took him a bit longer to figure out.
But he got it!
And it also has pyramid puzzles...these are a bit tricky.
But after some fiddling with the pieces, he figured it out!

Alrighty, I need to get ready for the kiddos to wake up.  Oh, and I need to take some meat out for dinner...oops!  Should've done that this morning.  Hope you're having a great day!

  1. Cute pics of the boys...looks like they had a lot of fun! I know, I always get sucked into The Bachelor too. I'm glad that crazy New York blogger girl is gone! She was giving bloggers a bad name ;)
I like Ben, he seems nice, but his hair is driving me nuts. I HATE it! I just want to cut it all off ;)
