New Doctor

My little Ash had his 4 month check up last Thursday night.  We went to a new pediatrician.  Her name was Dr. Mathews and I liked her.  The facility was nice and clean, they were on time which is so nice, she was thorough yet speedy...all good things.

Ash is doing great!  He is right on track developmentally which is good.  He weighs 12lb 15oz and is 25 inches long.  He was a happy camper the entire visit until the nurse came in to give him his shots.  Seriously, that is the most unfun thing to watch.  It's horrible.  Actually if I had to pick one thing I didn't like about this new place it would be that they don't let you hold them while they get their shots.  At our old pediatrician, she had you hold the baby to help keep them calm while she poked them with needles.  At this place, poor little Ash was just laying on his back and she went to town on his cute little legs.  Super sad to watch.  He got three shots and he was not happy about it.  But once I picked him up, he calmed down right away.

He had a rough night that night though.  He was super cranky and I could tell by his cry that he was in pain.  But he was better the next day.  Took a couple of longer naps and by that night he was back to his normal lil' self :)

Did you have a good weekend??  I got a bunch of errands taken care of.  Got some current pictures up in all of my picture frames...I'm excited about that.  Then waited patiently for Chris to make his famous green chili.  He makes it every Super Bowl and it's delish!!  This year he did not disappoint...it was soooo good!

We finally got some snow this weekend.  The boys went out to play while Chris shoveled.  They had a blast throwing snowballs at each other.

Vann eating some snow

Here are a few pics of the boys chilling on the couch.  The older two were snuggled up watching a show and baby Ash was hanging out on the ottoman.

Smiley baby!

Not the best shot, but here's a pic of all three of them

They're totally relaxed :)

Hope you have a great Monday!
