Here's the second half of our trip to Kansas. We have a tradition that we started about 5 years ago where we always go to Chris's friend's parent's house (got that?!) and swim, BBQ and then blow up fireworks. It's a lot of fun! This year the big gathering was on Saturday. They live in the country, kind of, so all the neighbors are cool with the firework show we put on.

We went swimming as soon as we got there. In fact, little Chaycers couldn't wait till I put my swimsuit on so, he was standing on the stairs in the pool just getting his feet wet. I was standing on the stairs too, talking with Bob, the Dad (owner of the house) and I was telling him how excited Chayce was to swim and that he's my little daredevil so, I needed to watch he closely....sure enough just after I said that Chayce decides to try and go down one more step and well it was just a little too deep for him so, he went under. I quickly pulled him out and he was fine, just a little shook up. After that he kept telling me in his cute little voice, 'Mom I can't swim.' But he did great...once I got my suit on we both got in the pool and he was fearless once again!
