Dresses are hard. Really hard. I don't wear them so, finding one I like that fits me well is tough. Add budget friendly to that and it becomes almost impossible. I've been thinking about what to wear to this wedding for months. I ordered two dresses online. Both are pretty, just don't fit me well. Straps too long, chest area too loose, no matching shoes, the list goes on and on.
So, instead I returned them and I'm going with the timeless 'little black dress.' And I'm actually borrowing it from one of my daycare moms...crazy right?! We're about the same size...obviously...so, we got to talking about dresses one day and she brought over a couple for me to check out. I instantly liked the 'little black one.'
It fits me perfect. Makes me look like I have 'girls'...aka boobs...and well, let's face it, I don't so, anything to help that situation is a plus. It's strapless, but fits tight enough so, that I don't have to worry about pulling it up all night or one of the boys pulling it down when they're trying to get my attention. It's got some neat layering, ruching, whatever...I'm not into fashion so, I'm don't know all the correct lingo...but whatever you call it not only looks cool, but will hide gubba...my belly...after I fill it with what's probably going to be a most delicious dinner. Which means no sucking in my gut...huge bonus!
So, everybody's outfits are ready to go. Now I just need to pack for the rest of the weekend...
The boys and I went to a football party on Sunday. It was a lot of fun! Chris stayed home to watch the game here. He's a Lions fan so, watching the Bears game with a bunch of Bears fans is not his idea of fun. He'd rather watch the Bears game by himself on his little tv in the garage...that's just him. But I wasn't about to miss the fun! The boys had a ball playing with all of their little friends. And the best thing about parties...all the dips and yummy appetizers. I think all the girls stood around the table the entire time chatting and eating....seriously! While the kids ran around and

Do you guys watch The Sing Off? I love that show! I think they are all so talented. Maybe it's because I can't sing...well actually I can...just not very well. Not well at all. So, the things they do with their voices just amaze me. Some of the songs actually sound like real songs, songs with instruments, but it's just their voices...so cool! If you've never watched it, you should check it out.
Ok, see ya back here tomorrow! Hope your Monday was great!
