My Brain is Full

I've got about a million things going on in my noggin right now.  I love planning and throwing birthday parties for my kids...love it.  But I literally lose sleep for days/weeks before the party...plans and lists and ideas are always floating around in my head.  I've learned to not start planning it till a couple of weeks before the party or otherwise I'd drive myself crazy.  But on the flip side, I get a little stressed out because my to do list feels like a mountain and I get a bit panicked that I won't get it all done.  Good news is...I always do...or if I don't...no one notices.  


I did get a bunch of things crossed off my list today.  I started my cupcake tower, I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow.  I got all of my birthday supplies...tableware, goodie bags, decorations, etc...all taken care of.  I still need to put things together...cupcake, wall and table decorations.  And make the stuff for the games.  And order the food and balloons.  I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.  But I get this way every time...every party.  And I think I secretly love it.  I love transforming the house into a little kid play haven for a day.  I love the boys' faces when they see everything put together.  I love staying up all night the night before making the cake.  I love it.  And I wouldn't have it any other way.  So, for the next week and a half, my brain is going to be full.  Full of all things Mario.
