Painting like van Gogh

The second artist we've been learning about is Vincent van Gogh.  I can't tell you enough how much the boys are loving learning about these artists...seriously, they get so excited to read the book and talk about the different paintings.  And of course, painting day is always a lot of fun!  


They picked the painting 'Wheatfield with Crows' to paint today.  Here's some pics of the action...

Chayce was very focused this time...he was actually trying to make it look like van Gogh's painting.  He was also wanting to mix and make different colors this time too which was fun!
