Birthday Fun

We went to a birthday party yesterday for little Maddie...she turned 2.  It was during the day so, the daycare kiddos got to come join in the fun too.  They all had such a good time playing on the swing set, chatting with their little friends, decorating cookies, etc.  And the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

Check out all the red sprinkles on Vann's cookie!!  Chayce was having trouble shaking his out so, I just put some on the table beside him and he picked them up and put them on that way.  

When we got home, it was time for all the little kids to take a nap...they were exhausted!  

Oh I almost forgot to tell you what happened Thursday night while we were sleeping.  Someone broke into Chris's truck and stole his TomTom GPS unit.  We were super pissed.  He did have his truck unlocked so, that's partially his fault, but even so that doesn't give someone the right to take our stuff.  I thought we lived in a super safe and trustworthy neighborhood, but apparently I was wrong.  The worst part is how violated I feel...that feeling sucks.  What also sucks is that he uses the TomTom pretty much everyday when he's driving around meeting with his customers.  Oh well, there's not much we can do about it except make sure all the vehicles are locked all the time and hope they don't decide to break a window to get in next time.
