So, this week we're talking about the Five Senses. Today we learned about touch. Our craft was to make a sensory can. I covered an oatmeal container with colored paper. The boys decorated their containers however they wished. I hot glued one of Dad's old socks to the top and cut the bottom off of it. Then I filled it up with all kinds of things...toy car, quarter, pencil, spoon, etc...they had to stick their hand in the sock, feel an object and guess what it was. The boys thought it was pretty cool! They kept putting things in it for each other to feel and guess what it was...turned into a fun game :)
