Our Experiment was a Success!

We did it...we made some buns!  Vann and I had a go at it again...this time with some new yeast from my cupboard and whala...it worked!  (BTW...I know it's voila, but I like whala...it's how I talk so, anyhow that's that.)

So, our dough rose...the first time, the second time and in the oven...yay!  Here's some pics of the scientist adding raisins to his buns.

He hid some of the raisins in the buns so, whoever ate them would have a fun surprise!  Notice the one in the corner of the cookie sheet...he made a smiley face with the raisins.
He would flatten the dough, put some raisins on it, then roll it up and make it back into a ball.

He did all of them by himself.  And when they were done baking he couldn't wait to eat one.  Once they cooled a bit he ate two right away!  He liked dipping them in honey...yum!  All the other kiddos liked them too.  In fact, there are only 3 out of the 12 he made left!

Okay, well I'm super tired so, I'm off to bed.  Hope you had a great day!

  1. A chef in the making! I like his creative edge to flatten, put raisins in and re-roll. Too cute!
