Hello There!

I feel like I've been away for so long!  I'm not sure where to start to catch you up on all the happenings in the Riley house the past weekish.  We had such a great weekend with the Grandmas!  The boys just love, love, love them!  It was so great spending some time with both of them...especially my mom.  I miss her and wish we lived closer so, we could see her more...love ya Mom!

We planned on hitting the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but when we woke up it was rainy out so, plans changed.  Instead we took my Mom shopping at Cabela's for a fishing rod.  Yep, she loves to fish!  I've never been to Cabela's, but have heard it's a pretty neat store so, I was excited to check it out.  The boys loved looking at all the animals...it's crazy how real they look.  And they had fun helping Grandma look for the perfect fishing rod...I'm not sure how helpful they really were...but they tried and amazingly nobody got hurt and nothing was damaged.  My Mom didn't find her perfect fishing rod, but it was a fun trip none the less.  Rana bought some spice rubs for Chris and on the way to the car we bought some popcorn for a snack...cinnamon and caramel kettle korn...yum!

Here's some pics from Sunday...

  1. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! I Love, Love, Love the light sabers! Gwen prefers to fight me with wooden swords we got at the Renaissance Faire. After a year of that we invested in shields as well because I had so many bruises :)
