Santa Started Shopping!

I did it!  I made my first of what will probably be many purchases from my favorite website, Amazon, yesterday.  I love shopping, I really do.  And I love shopping for the boys.  I'm already imagining their cute little faces when they open the gifts Santa brought them.  Their smiles and pure excitement is worth every penny spent at Christmas time!

Here's some pics from journal time yesterday...

Check out those blue eyes!
Really concentrating...

Today, we made a Good Manners Bear.  The kids colored him, put some paws on him and then during the week they earn stickers on their bear for being polite and having good manners.

They were pretty cute about trying to earn stickers today.  I think this manners theme should last forever!  We talk about having good manners all the time, but there's just something about it being our theme that makes being polite more fun.

During nap time today, Vann and I did the My First Science Kit he got for his birthday.  We had a lot of fun playing with colors.

He had the challenge of making 24 different colors using just red, blue and yellow.

He loved every minute of it!
I said, 'Smile Vann!'  He said, 'Why?!'
Look at that one Mom!

Here's all of the colors he created...it's hard to tell, but those dark ones are either purplish or brownish.
Once he finished making his colors he thought it'd be fun to mix all the colors in their cups...Nate came home from preschool and got to see the tail end of our experiment.
Taking a better look with the magnifying glass.

Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?!?!  How did that sneak up on me?  November has flown by.  Good thing about that...Christmas is not far away!

Hope your day was great!
