We just finished up learning about the artist Michelangelo. He was famous for painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, but he was also famous for the sculptures he made. So, I pulled out our clay and let the boys create their own sculptures. They worked on them for a long time.

| Chayce's finished sculpture. He didn't name his. But he had fun making it! He spent a lot of time squishing the clay flat and then using a paint brush to put water in between all the layers so, they would stick. |
