Random Thoughts...

So, the boys had gymnastics last night.  And remember how I told you I was gonna bring my good camera so, I could zoom in and try to get some better pics.  Not so much.  I brought my good camera.  Took two pics and then got yelled at by the coach of the girls 'gymnastics team' for putting all the little girls who were on the balance beams lives in danger distracting the girls on the balance beams because of the flash on my camera...oops!  Really, I didn't even think about it...I would never want one of the girls to get hurt because of me...can you imagine?!  That would be awful!  I was just trying to capture a moment in my kids' lives...that's all.  I felt super bad for distracting the girls, but the coach...well thing is, this coach is a beeotch.  A lot of the moms call her hard core.  Nope, to Chris and I she's the mean, bitchy, needs to get off her high horse coach.  And not because of the camera incident.  We've thought this from the first time we saw her.  She just looks mean.  Yeah, so I got in trouble and was super embarrassed.  But not too embarrassed to grab my iphone and take pictures with that :)

Did some puzzles with the boys tonight.  I love puzzles.  My mom and I used to do them all the time.  And whenever I was at my Grandma's house, we did them there too.  We're puzzles lovers :)

Paige came over yesterday and the kiddos finally exchanged Christmas gifts...a little late...we're both aware.  Vann and Chayce each got a Darth Vader hat and glove set...can you say perfect?!  Here's a few pics...

Vann digging his new hat and gloves!

Chaycers put his on and immediately had to go find his light saber!

As soon as they woke up this morning they had to put their hat and gloves back on....and then dance to some music!

Well, I'm off to see if Revenge is new this week.  There have been a lot of reruns lately on some of my shows...not fun.  Hey, does anyone watch Body of Proof?  I like that show.  It's become one of my favs to watch.

Weekly Recap

Wow, I've been gone a long time!  Sorry, 'bout that...how've ya been?  We've been good here.  The boys had gymnastics on Tuesday.  I am so happy with the program...and to top it of they are both loving it!  They smile the entire time...it's great to watch.  I'm sorry the pics are so far away.  The parents don't go in the gym and since I don't know how to zoom in with my iphone, this is what I've got.  Next time I'll bring my regular camera so, I can zoom in and get a closer shot.

Chaycers stretching at gymnastics.

They were working on forward and backward somersaults, and the beginnings of a cartwheel.

Vann is on the parallel bars. He's in the white shirt and blue shorts.

I know he's hard to see...but he's on the parallel bars again.

Vann's doing a cartwheel with Coach.

Chayce's class is getting stamped before leaving.

Here's some pics of the boys doing a snowman craft one day last week.

They decorated their snowman and then painted snowflakes with their fingers.

Vann used the glitter paint to make snow on the ground.

Then he added more snowflakes.

Here's some pics of Vann, Chayce and Mia being silly on Friday.  They all get along so well and just love playing with each other.  They were dancing and tickling and sorta wrestling...lots of fun!

We had girls night last night.  Nothing crazy, just a small get together at Donna's house.  But it was so much fun!  I had a great time chit-chatting and laughing till I had tears rolling down my face...true story.  And guess what time I got home...you're never gonna believe it...3am!!  Thank goodness I wasn't drinking or else I would've been super cranky hungover when 7am rolled around.  I thought I was gonna be really tired, but I woke up feeling fine...I guess my body is used to little sleep.  I did curl up with the boys on the couch while they watched cartoons for a bit, but then I was up and getting stuff done.  I do think I'll hit the sack a little earlier tonight...I'm thinking a girlie movie while snuggled up in my bed...sounds good right?

Gymnastics

The boys had their first gymnastics class tonight.  They both did awesome and had such a great time!  And they were both tired little boys when they were done.  Chayce loved his coach and always wanted to hold her hand when they moved to the next station.  He was a bit nervous when it came time to flip over the bar, but he did do it two of the five or six times.  His favorite is the trampoline.  What's nice is that there are only 4 kiddos in his class so, they got to spend a lot of time on each thing.

Little Chaycers doing his stretches

Vann is in a class with older boys.  He's the only Kindergartener, but the coach said he did great!  He definitely has a lot to learn, but I know after a few more classes he'll build his confidence and he'll be rocking it.  What I was most happy about was that he tried everything, even the things I thought for sure he would be nervous about.  His coach seems really good.  I'm pretty sure Vann is going to sleep like a rock tonight...he was a busy little boy!

Pops, that what the boys call Chris's dad, brought his guitar out the other night and the boys had a great time dancing around to his music.  Here's a couple of pics...

Chayce being silly!

I think they were trying to do ring around the rosie

Even Molly's enjoying watching Pops play the guitar!

Our theme this week is Wheels.  This is right up the boys alley.  Our craft was a big hit today.  It involved cars and paint...win, win!  Here's some pics...

Chaycers vrooming his car on his paper

Vann loading his car up with paint

They enjoyed trying all kinds of different cars to see how their tracks differed

I didn't get a chance to watch Castle last night so, I'm off to watch it right now.  Hope you had a great day! It's my Dad's birthday today...Happy Birthday Dad!!  Love you!  Below is the video we sent him today...
