Paint a pumpkin

Little Ash had fun painting a mini pumpkin the other day.  You've got to check out his crazy faces at the end.  One of the many reasons I heart him!

Such a goof!

So last night as the boys were getting ready to take showers and I was putting laundry away Vann says, 'Uh Mom.  Ash just peed in the vent.'  I mean how can you not laugh when you hear that?!  I said, 'Ash why did you pee in the vent?'  Ash, 'Because I had to pee.'  Oh okay, makes perfect sense haha.  Never a dull moment I tell ya and I wouldn't have it any other way!  

Mean Mom

Chayce just came up and asked me if he could play with the cushions on the couch.  I said not right now, let's do our science experiment first.  He walked away pouting.  

Then I overheard him asking Mia if her mom was mean to her.  She said, 'Yes sometimes.'  Chayce said, 'My mom was just mean to me.  She said I can't play with the cushions on the couch.  I'm the boss of her and she's not listening.'   

Oh the things kids say...I'm cracking up!  So, I guess I'm a mean mom today...well this minute anyhow.  I'm sure I'll be the 'best mom ever' again when he wants another chocolate chip cookie later :)

Movie Director

So, the other day while I was getting dressed for the day, the kids were playing on my phone.  Vann was taking pictures and he also made a video.  And let me tell you that it's hilarious!  For each new location of his movie, he would cover the hole up with his finger and he'd make his move and then before revealing his new location he'd say, 'dun, dun, duuunnnnn!!'  He went to the spooky, spooky forest...pointed the camera outside the window.  He went to the giant bad guys...gave us a close up of some stuffed animals.  He probably did this like 10 times.  I was cracking up watching it!  It was great and really creative!

Vann vs Food

You know that show 'Man vs Food'?  Well Chris watches it sometimes.  And Sunday night at dinner before Vann bites into his big hamburger he says, 'Vann vs Food'...in his best announcer voice.  Chris and I both chuckle.  At the end of the meal, with just a little burger left, Vann declares that 'Food wins.'  It was cute!

This morning he did it again...this time he loaded his plate up with two sausage rollups and two ham and cheese rollups.  And he says, 'Vann vs Food'...again in his best announcer voice.  Chayce who is sitting beside him asks him why he keeps saying that.  Vann tells him 'because of that show on tv.'  Chayce sits and thinks for a minute before saying, 'Finger vs Crumbs'...in his little announcer voice.  And he begins pushing all the crumbs on the table into a pile.  Freaking hilarious!
