Our First Movie of the Year

Happy 2012!!  I took the boys to see 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked' today.  It was a cute movie.  The boys loved it!  I got smart this time and instead of paying and arm and a leg for popcorn and a drink...I popped a bag of popcorn before we left, filled a couple of ziplock bags with it and brought it along in my purse.  I also packed some other snacks and a couple of juice boxes.  It worked great!  I will definitely do this again the next time we see a movie.  


They both did great in the theater.  Vann got all comfy when we first sat down and pretty much didn't move the entire time.  Chayce sat great till about the last 20 minutes of the movie.  Then he ventured off and sat on the stairs for a bit.  He wasn't acting up or anything...he was just sitting on the stair by our aisle, watching the movie...it was cute.  There weren't very many people in the theater so, I just let him be.  I did move to a chair a bit closer to the aisle just in case he decide to make a run for it...but he didn't.  He sat there for like 10 minutes then came back in the aisle and got comfy in a chair again.
